Welcome, friends of the Labs! As I try to figure out how best to use Locals and how to organize this community in particular, please give your suggestions for what you would like most to see in this platform. Obviously, there will be exclusive videos and downloads and you'll be able to see videos before their release on YouTube, Odysee and the like. I expect to go into more detail, and hopefully more discussion with you, about my various projects both on the tabletop and on the written page.

I got these cool 1920s/30s era cars at the flea market today. They are too big at 143rd scale, but they look pretty good next to heroic 28 mm, which are probably around 1:50 scale.

We are dedicated to the hobbies of miniature wargaming and tabletop RPGs, not shilling for big companies. We use miniatures from ‘unapproved’ manufacturers, make our own army lists, and play out of print games and ‘obsolete’ editions.
Here you will find hobby journals, tactical studies, battle reports, miniature and book reviews, essays on gaming philosophy, commentary on the passing scene, and whatever else our membership finds notable. We will also host periodic online wargaming campaigns and chronicle them here.
