Hi, I’m Michael DiBaggio. You may remember me as the author of the Ascension Epoch novels and the short film “Stop Buying Space Marines, You Pathetic Simp.”

This community is about the creative hobbies that I enjoy most, namely:

• Writing and world building
• Miniature wargaming and crafting
• Tabletop RPGs

• Scale models and action figure customizing

This community is for anyone who enjoys my work and want to support or collaborate with me, especially those who want to:

• Return wargaming to its creative, DIY roots and narrative gaming instead of slavish adherence to tournament play and the death spiral of “Consoom Next New Thing.”
• Write fiction that is fun, exciting, and creative instead of the nihilistic and hectoring pap churned out by affirmative action hacks and converged corporations.
• Support #HeroicAdventureFiction, #Superversive, and #PulpRev sensibilities
• Get others interested in your hobbies while still keeping them from being infiltrated by subversive entryists
• Hone your world-building skills for writing and GMing
• Mine the public domain and open source texts for your own projects
• Discuss alternate history scenarios and ‘weird’ aspects of history for your writing and gaming inspiration.

Community Guidelines

WARNING: We unapologetically gatekeep! Progressives, wokists, blasphemers, entryists, bugmen, and other subversive riffraff will be ejected immediately!

1. Topics must be germane to our shared hobbies and creative projects. So, having political or religious arguments in the context of an alternate history setting is welcome, but such arguments for their own sake are not.
2. No pornography, no advocacy of sexual degeneracy, particularly including homosexuality and LGBT.
3. No advocacy of abortion, euthanasia, or any other position that denies the sanctity of innocent human life.
4. Respect is due to God. No slander or insults to the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit, or the Christian religion will be tolerated. Non-believers or members of other faiths are welcome as long as this rule is respected.
5. When sharing something you did not make, give attribution wherever possible. Claiming others work as your own will result in expulsion.
6. Treat other members with charity and respect. Assume good faith; if something sounds insulting, but it can also be interpreted in a more innocuous way, choose to do so.
7. Deal with any personal disputes in private. Remember your dignity!
8. No doxxing or slander of other members.
9. This community is for independent creators, not an ad stream for PopCult flunkies. Do not excessively post ‘product release’-style announcements from major publishers. Absolutely no ads for Games Workshop or Wizards of the Coast.

When in doubt, remember Rule Zero: Remember that this community is for authors, artists, world-builders, wargamers, GMs, and role-players who want to produce good and beautiful things.
